• Vendors may arrive to setup Friday (Sept. 26), from 9am to 5pm.
• Setup of all tents, tables and displays should be complete by 6pm Friday.
• You may setup your merchandise prior to Saturday if you’d like - there will be 24/7 security officers on-site, for Friday and Saturday nights. However, the Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival is not responsible for loss or damage to property of vendors or their associates.
• If you choose to wait until Saturday to set up your merchandise, you may do so from 6am to 10am. All vehicles must be removed from the festival grounds no later than 10:00am.
• For the safety of our guests, absolutely no vehicles will be allowed back on Festival grounds prior to 6:30pm on Sunday.
• All vendors MUST participate both days and remain open Saturday 11am-6pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.
• The SML Wine Festival provides vendor space only - vendors are responsible for securing any Tents, Tables, or Chairs that they may require. Tent, table and chair rentals are available through festival coordinators, and must have been requested at the time of application.
• All vendors are responsible for cleaning their own space. use of dumpsters are available to dispose of all boxes, bottles, corks, palettes, grease, foods, and trash of any kind.
• ICE will be made available during the event, for $10 per bag.
• Subletting space to another vendor is prohibited
• Each vendor is required to have insurance prior to the event date, covering participation in the event.
• Vendor wristbands will be in your packet at vendor checkin.u0003(this are vendor bands only, tasting wristbands are NOT included)

- 10x10 Vendors will receive 3 wristbands each day.
- 10x20 Vendors will receive 4 wristbands each day.
- 20x20 Vendors will receive 5 wristbands each day.
• Electricity is NOT available, nor can it be made available. Small quiet generators are allowed, 57 dB or less.
• Pets are NOT allowed on the Festival grounds.
• No alcoholic beverages other than those purchased at the Festival are permitted.
• Any item displaying profanity or discriminatory symbols, words, etc. is strictly prohibited.
• Any vendor advertising signs over 8 feet tall must be taken down overnight in the event of inclement weather. This will help ensure your tent and the surrounding tents are not damaged during a storm.
• Vendors’ employees or contract associates of any kind participating in booth activities must have appropriate “ID” to show at the entrance gates for admittance.
• Vendors are responsible for the collection of Virginia State sales tax and maintenance of appropriate documentation for state inspection.
• Vendors are responsible for water casks for glass rinsing if desired.
• There will be no refunds made for spaces once you have been accepted as a participant in the Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival.
• There will be no exclusivity for a specific type of product
