Private Chalets are perfect for large groups, parties, corporate events, hosting clients/ potential clients, and/or hosting a private picnic for your friends and family. There are three different sizes chalets, each including a tent, tasting and non-tasting tickets, banquets tables, cocktail tables, signage, and a private fenced in area.

Tips to Know Before You Go!

We want all of our guests to have a wonderful time at the 33rd Annual Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival, there are a few details and reminders to point out so everyone can enjoy their private chalet.
Absolutely! We encourage you to …
Bring coolers for food and/or picnic baskets; please remember these will be searched at the gate.
Lawn chairs, blankets and additional tables are welcomed.
Arrive early (10am) to set up your chalet, handle pre-ordered wine, and accept deliveries – please note, the event starts at 11am.
Put additional tickets at the Front Gate (Will Call) to be picked up by your potential clients/guests/customers when gates open at 11am.
Drop off items on Friday evening to be set up on Saturday. (Please note, the event does not assume any liability for items left overnight.)

Absolutely not!

No cooking/grilling onsite
No candles or fire of any kind
No vulgar language or behavior
No access to electricity (potential for power)
No personal port-o-lets (unless secured by SML Singer Song Writers)
No pets
No outside alcohol
No objects to obstruct the view of other festival guests
No personal tents; all tents in the Chalets must be ordered by the SML Singer Song Writers
No deliveries after 10am; setup begins at 7am; all vehicles off the event site by 10am
All signage/banners must be preapproved by the SML Singer Song Writers prior to the event
No tape or sticky materials on tents
No music that competes with the stage and/or disrupts your neighbors
Chalet locations are not guaranteed until payment has been received
FINAL NOTES: SML Singer Song Writers reserves the right to postpone, cancel and/or evacuate events due to adverse weather conditions. Also, please be respectful and cooperative in regards to accommodation limits (Chalet One: 15; Chalet Two: 20; Chalet Three: 25)
