Host a Private Gathering at the SML Wine Festival with a Personal Chalet

Private chalets are an excellent way to host your own parties within the Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival for family, friends, employees, or clients. Three chalet sizes are available, each coming with its own number of tickets, tables, and chairs. Simply choose your date, the size of your chalet, and select any additional equipment and services that you’d like to have included in your rental.

All rentals, materials, and tickets must be ordered/purchased by Monday, September 3rd. 

To reserve your chalet, submit this form we will invoice for your amount due if the chalet is still available, chalets are first come first serve.

Tips to Know Before You Go!

We want all of our guests to have a wonderful time at the SML Wine Festival. Here are a few details and reminders to help you make the most of your private chalet.

 

  • Bring coolers for food and/or picnic baskets. Please remember these will be searched at the gate. No outside alcohol.
  • Lawn chairs, blankets, and additional tables are welcome.
  • Arrive early (10 am) to set up your chalet, handle pre-ordered wine, and accept deliveries. Please note: the event starts at 11 am.
  • Put additional tickets at the Front Gate (Will Call) to be picked up by your guests.
  • Drop off items on Friday evening to be set up on Saturday. Please note: the event does not assume any liability for items left overnight.)

ABSOLUTELY NO:

No cooking/grilling onsite.
No candles or fire of any kind.
No vulgar language or behavior.
No access to electricity (potential for power).
No personal port-o-lets (unless secured by SML Singer Songwriters).
No pets.
No outside alcohol.
No objects to obstruct the view of other festival guests.
No personal tents. All tents in the chalet area must be ordered by SML Singer Songwriters.
No deliveries after 10 am. Setup begins at 7 am. All vehicles must be off of the event site by 10 am.
All signage/banners must be preapproved by the SML Singer Songwriters prior to the event.
No tape or sticky materials on tents.
No music that competes with the stage and/or disrupts your neighbors.
Chalet locations are not guaranteed until payment has been received.

Final Notes: SML Singer Songwriters reserves the right to postpone, cancel, and/or evacuate events due to adverse weather conditions. Also, please be respectful and cooperative in regard to chalet accommodation limits.
